Fabulous Thunderbirds

For over 30 years, The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been the quintessential American band. The group’s distinctive and powerful sound, influenced by a diversity of musical styles, manifested itself into a unique musical hybrid via such barnburners as “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up”. Co-founder Kim Wilson, the sole original member, still spearheads the group as it evolves into its newest incarnation.

“We started as a straight blues band”, vocalist and harmonica player Wilson says. “We now incorporate a mixture of a lot of different styles. We’re an American music band and we’re much higher energy than we were before.”

In addition to Wilson, the current Thunderbirds line-up features Jay Moeller on drums, Johnny Moeller and Mike Keller on guitar, and Randy Bermudes on bass.

Asia

Their debut became the biggest selling album of 1982, spending 9 weeks at Number 1 in the charts, with reportedly 1 in every 13 US households owning a copy. The pedigree of the four members and its iconic Roger Dean cover underpinned 9 classic rock songs that set the standard for numerous albums to follow. The album also gave its audience the worldwide hit HEAT OF THE MOMENT, and the follow up single, ONLY TIME WILL TELL, was another worldwide smash hit. As a measure of the album’s appeal, no less than 6 of the album’s 9 tracks were major radio hits in the United States. Today, ASIA performs with its nearly original line-up of John Wetton, Carl Palmer, Geoff Downes, and Sam Coulson.

Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox

Scott Bradlee first rose to prominence as a pianist working in the New York Jazz scene.  In looking for creative inspiration, he began reworking popular music as an exercise.  In 2009 he released “Hello My Ragtime ‘80s,” which incorporated popular music from the ‘80s with a ragtime-style piano.  But it wasn’t until 2012 that he would finally begin to gain popularity with his release of A Motown Tribute to Nickelback, a collaboration with local musicians which arranged Nickelback’s songs in the style of ‘60s R&B music.  Just last year he formed Postmodern Jukebox, a rotating group of musicians producing covers of pop songs in the styles of jazz, ragtime, and swing.  The group broke onto the public radar with their doo-wop cover of Miley Cyrus’s “We Can’t Stop”.

Psychedelic Furs & The Lemonheads
